It’s National Hispanic Heritage Month! Usually a month long period from September 15 to October 15, the reason for celebrating this is to honor and respect the cultures of Latin Americans and Hispanics living in the USA. Heritage means to honor and think back about the pride, honor, and courage of something from the past.

The anniversary, which was on September 15, talks about the independence for Hispanic Countries : Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Surprisingly, it was first started as a week and was signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson, and then turned into a month by President George H. W. Bush several years later. Now, we can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring the history and culture and of Latin Americans living in the USA.
